A woman, 36, was viciously attacked with a knife on Artilleriestrasse in broad daylight, leaving her seriously injured. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, May 2nd, and the motive for the crime remains unclear. The perpetrator, a 42-year-old man from Oldenburg in Lower Saxony, stabbed the woman before she managed to escape into a car. The driver of the car rushed her to the hospital, where she received treatment for life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, her life is no longer in immediate danger, according to a police spokesperson. The alleged perpetrator was apprehended at the scene and brought before a judge on Friday.
