The extensive search for a six-year-old boy named Arian in Germany has been ongoing for a week. Arian, who has autism and is non-verbal, went missing from his parents’ home last Monday. Over 1,200 people participated in the search in Bremervörde on Sunday, forming a coordinated human chain 1,500 meters long with about 800 people systematically searching every corner of the area.

Despite the efforts of the search teams and police officers on horses, as well as the use of drones and sonar technology, no new leads have been discovered. Footprints that were initially thought to belong to Arian turned out to be from other people, leading the search in a different direction. The operational strategy of the search was coordinated with an autism expert to aid in finding Arian.

The search teams are working tirelessly to find Arian, with emergency services combing the area between Elmo and Oldendorf. There is no evidence of foul play or a wolf attack, according to police statements. Various tactics, such as playing music and setting off fireworks, have been implemented to try to locate Arian in the hopes that he will come out of hiding.

Garbage collection was canceled on Friday to allow volunteers to inspect bins, and searchlights were installed in the area to provide light throughout the night. The search efforts continue, with hopes high that Arian will be found safe and sound.
