Jennifer Leak, the first wife of Tim Matheson, passed away at the age of 76 on March 18 at her home in Jupiter, Florida. She had been battling progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurological disease, in her final years.
Matheson, her former husband, shared a tribute to Leak on Facebook, describing her as a remarkable woman who was strong, lovely, and incredibly talented. He extended his condolences to her husband, James D’Auria, whom she had been married to for 47 years.
Leak was known for her role in the 1968 film “Yours, Mine and Ours” where she played Colleen, the daughter of Lucille Ball’s character. The movie portrayed a blended family of 18 children.
Born in Cardiff, Wales in 1947, Leak had a successful career in acting, appearing in various soap operas and screen roles. She later transitioned to working as a sales agent for a real estate company in the mid-1980s.
Leak was married to Matheson from 1968 to 1971 and then wed James D’Auria in 1977. She is survived by her husband and brother.
