Agricultural Technology Brings Growers, Millers, and Bakers Together in Celebration

Representatives of leading wheat and wheat foods groups gathered at a Celebration of Modern Agriculture at the National Mall in Washington, DC, US. Among the attendees were Bill Dumais from the American Bakers Association, Jane DeMarchi from the North American Millers’ Association, Chandler Goule from the National Association of Wheat Growers, Jake Westin from NAWG, and Catherine Miller from US Wheat Associates. The event featured a display of bread baked by Didier Rosada, a master baker with Uptown Bakers in Hyattsville, Md.

The Celebration of Modern Agriculture took place near the US Department of Agriculture headquarters, on the south side of the Mall, from May 6-8. The event aimed to showcase advancing agricultural technology used by growers and ranchers, as well as equipment makers and input suppliers. It provided an opportunity for industry professionals to come together and learn about the latest innovations in agriculture.

Attendees at the event had the opportunity to network with others in the industry, learn about new developments, and discuss the future of agriculture. The event highlighted the importance of modernizing the agricultural sector to ensure sustainability and productivity in the face of changing environmental and economic conditions.
