Bud Dupree Visited Chargers and Receives Interest from Steelers and Falcons

Bud Dupree may soon be joining a new team, as he has recently completed a free-agent visit with the Chargers. Along with the Chargers, the Falcons and Steelers have also expressed interest in signing the free-agent edge rusher. Dupree, who is 31 years old, was originally a first-round pick for the Steelers in 2015 and spent six seasons with the team. He then signed with the Titans before joining the Falcons for the 2021-2022 season.

During his time with the Falcons, Dupree recorded 6.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, and eight QB hits in 16 games. He also had three passes defensed and two forced fumbles. Throughout his career, which has spanned 119 games with 99 starts, Dupree has accumulated 53.0 sacks, 70 tackles for loss, and 90 QB hits.

It seems that Bud Dupree is now weighing his options as he considers which team to join next. With interest from multiple teams, it will be interesting to see where the talented edge rusher ends up for the upcoming season. Regardless of where he goes, Dupree’s skills and experience are sure to make an impact on whichever team he chooses to sign with.
