Chinese researchers make significant progress in quantum physics using ‘photon boxes’

Chinese scientists have made a breakthrough in realizing the fractional quantum anomalous Hall state of photons using “photon boxes”. The findings of the research team, led by Professor Lu Chaoyang and Professor Pan Jianwei from the University of Science and Technology of China, were published in the prestigious academic journal Science on May 3rd.
