World champions Sha’Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman will be competing in the 100m event at the upcoming Prefontaine Classic. Richardson, who won last year’s World Championships in Budapest with a time of 10.65, will be facing tough competition from athletes like Julien Alfred and Marie-Josee Ta Lou. Coleman, who took the Diamond Trophy in the 100m event last year, will also be in the mix with athletes like Ferdinand Omanyala and Ackeem Blake.
In addition to the 100m event, the men’s 200m event at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Eugene will feature a highly competitive lineup.
