Apple unveiled new, more advanced models of its iPad tablets on Tuesday, including the M4 chip with AI capabilities, updates to complementary applications and accessories, such as the digital pen and magic keyboard. The technology giant showcased these new features in a documentary-style video shown via streaming, with CEO Tim Cook declaring it as the biggest day for the iPad since its launch.

The star of the lineup is the new iPad Pro, thinner than ever before, available in 11 and 13-inch sizes, featuring an OLED screen and powered by the M4 chip, making it the most powerful device in its category. The M4 chip, built with second-generation 3-nanometer technology, is a leap forward in Apple silicon technology, providing a significant boost in performance and AI capabilities for the iPad Pro.

In addition to the new iPad Pro, Apple also introduced the Apple Pencil Pro and a redesigned Magic Keyboard, as well as updated versions of the Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro applications for video editing and music production on the iPad Pro. The iPad Air was also revamped, available in 11 and 13-inch sizes, powered by the M2 chip and compatible with the new accessories.

The new 6th generation iPad Air comes in various versions based on screen size, connectivity, and storage options. Customers can now pre-order the iPad Air from the Apple store, with shipping set to begin next week. The pricing for the different configurations of the iPad Air was also revealed, providing options to suit varying needs and budgets.
