Grace Dobrzynski of Siena’s women’s lacrosse team has proven to be a standout player in Division I this season, leading in assists. In her third season with the Saints, Dobrzynski has broken records for most assists in a single season in the MAAC and in Siena’s program history.

A junior attacker for the Saints, Dobrzynski credits her growth in the role of distributor to the support and guidance of her teammates and coaches. Originally more of a scorer growing up in Rhode Island, she transitioned her game to become a strong feeder on the field. With a family background in medicine, Dobrzynski was drawn both to Siena’s lacrosse program and its Albany Medical College Science and Humanities program.

Having faced challenges and grown from them, both on and off the field, Dobrzynski has developed into a confident leader within the team. Siena’s head coach, Danielle Schwan-Tetreault, praises Dobrzynski for her adaptability and decision-making skills. With another year of eligibility remaining, Dobrzynski continues to strive toward her goal of becoming a strong leader and player.

Throughout her journey, Dobrzynski has learned and grown with the support of her teammates and coaches. She acknowledges that she still has room to grow and appreciates the challenges that have helped shape her into the player she is today.
