Find out who will be joining Tom Felton in the world premiere of A Child of Science at Bristol Old Vic

Bristol Old Vic has announced the full cast for the world premiere of Gareth Farr’s A Child of Science, with the lead role to be played by Tom Felton. The play delves into the creation of IVF and is set to begin performances on June 5, with an opening night scheduled for June 11. The show will run through July 6. Joining Felton in the cast are Jamie Glover, Meg Bellamy, Adelle Leonce, Sonoya Mizuno, and Sheena Steptoe. The production will also feature Saikat Ahamed, Gruffudd Glyn, Bobby Hirston, Amy Loughton, Bebe Sanders, and Everal A Walsh.

Directed by Matthew Dunster, A Child of Science tells the story of the development of IVF treatment. The project is close to both Dunster and Farr, who have personal connections to IVF as parents. The set design will be by Anna Fleischle, costumes by Angelica Rush, lighting by Sally Ferguson, sound by Holly Khan, music by Genevieve Dawson, video design by Gino Ricardo Green, and hair and make-up by Zoƫ Louise Gale. The casting is done by Matilda James.
