At the upcoming World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas, all eyes will be on athletes like Noah Lyles and Marcell Jacobs in the 4x100m relay. Lyles, a triple world champion, will be seeking his first title at the World Relays after winning gold with Team USA at the World Championships in 2023. He has previously won silver in both the 4x100m and 4x200m relays at past editions of the event.

Lyles will be joined by teammates Kenny Bednarek and Courtney Lindsey, with the goal of leading Team USA to victory in the 4x100m relay. Meanwhile, Olympic and European champion Jacobs will be looking to deliver a strong performance in the Bahamas, having not competed in a relay since winning silver at the last World Championships.

Other notable athletes to watch include Ackeem Blake from Jamaica, who will be competing alongside a team that lacks some of their usual star athletes. The sprint firepower of Kenya, led by African 100m record holder Omanyala, and South Africa, led by Akani Simbine, will also be on display at the event. Simbine has expressed his desire for South Africa to finally achieve success in relays after facing setbacks in the past.

Overall, the World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas promise to showcase some of the world’s top sprinters as they compete for relay glory on the international stage.
