The 24th edition of Comicon Napoli is gearing up to once again transform the Mostra d’Oltremare into a hub for fans of comics and pop culture. In 2023, the event saw a record attendance of over 170,000 visitors. This year, from April 25th to 28th, thousands of visitors are expected to gather for this celebration of comics, games, and more, with special guest Gigaciao, a publishing house founded by artists Sio, Dado, Fraffrog, and Giacomo Bevilacqua.
The event promises a program filled with activities and highlights, such as the presentation of Sio’s new comic-game, “Johnnyfer Jaypegg and the treasure of colorful edible aliens,” which will take place on April 25th. Additionally, Gigaciao will reveal upcoming releases at the Giga Spoiler event on Saturday afternoon and host the live Powerpizza Podcast on Sunday, featuring popular hosts Sio, Lorro, and Nik.
Comic book enthusiasts and collectors can look forward to meeting authors for signing sessions and purchasing the latest releases at the Gigaciao stand. Exclusive gadgets and publications like “What do I do when I grow up?” by Fraffrog and “Evviva che Bello” by Sio will be available for attendees. Those who make a purchase at the Gigaciao stand will receive a free Giga Spoiler volume, offering a preview of the publishing house’s future releases.
