Starting in 2024, Texas high school football teams will have the opportunity to use video technology during games. The University Interscholastic League has approved the use of video and data technology, including computers, tablets, iPads, and smartphones during games. However, the UIL has decided to limit the use of this technology to coaching booths, halftime in the locker room, and during the game itself, stopping short of allowing it on the field like the NCAA.

High School Football America has partnered with GameStrat for the past five years to educate coaches on the benefits of the company’s sideline instant replay system. GameStrat Director of Sales Ben Fisher recently discussed this exciting development on the High School Football America Podcast.
