Harlem Wizards Return to WFSD for a Spectacular Show

Faculty and staff from Tangier Smith Elementary School and John S. Hobart Elementary School recently took part in a charity basketball game against the Harlem Wizards. Kopa, a therapy dog, served as the honorary referee for the exciting match.

The Harlem Wizards, known for their basketball skills and entertainment, returned to William Floyd to play against the local faculty and staff. The game was filled with laughter, energy, and impressive basketball moves that wowed the audience.

The event featured a range of activities including the Wizards showcasing their talents, a warm-up session with the “Wiz-Kids,” comedy acts, contests, raffles, slam dunks, autographs, and more. The evening ended with the “Wiz-Kids” joining in on the Wizards’ dance party to wrap up the fun-filled night.

The William Floyd community expressed their gratitude to the Harlem Wizards for their visit and to everyone who attended the event. Special recognition was given to the Hobart and Tangier Smith PTOs for their dedication and hard work in organizing the successful charity game.
