Last week, Orange County health inspectors ordered the closure of various restaurants and food vendors due to health violations. Among them was Pad Thai located at 12620 Westminster Ave., Suite A in Santa Ana, which was closed on April 24 due to a rodent infestation. However, it was able to reopen on April 25 after rectifying the issue.

Another establishment, Pepz Pizza & Eatery at 646 S. Brookhurst St. in Anaheim, was also closed on April 24 for a cockroach infestation. Surprisingly, it was allowed to reopen on the same day after taking necessary actions to eliminate the infestation.

An update from last week’s list includes Nutricion Poderosa at 932 S. Euclid St. in Anaheim, which was closed on April 17 due to a cockroach infestation. However, it was permitted to reopen on April 19 after resolving the problem. These closures and reopenings are tracked weekly by the OC Health Care Agency to ensure the safety and well-being of patrons. Status updates are provided in the following week’s list, which is sourced from the OC Health Care Agency database.
