DMG Events, an international events and exhibitions organizing company, has announced that the 2024 Hotel Expo will take place from June 4 to 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s exhibition will feature 28 countries participating through their national pavilions, marking the largest participation in the event’s two-decade history. Countries like Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Turkey, the UAE, and Poland will showcase their offerings at the exhibition.
In addition to the national pavilions, the 2024 Hotel Expo will host four conferences focusing on the importance of technology, sustainability, and wellness in enhancing guest experiences. Eileen O’Connell, Vice President of Design and Hospitality at dmg Events, emphasized the role of technology in the hospitality sector, driven by evolving guest expectations and trends in wellness and sustainability practices.
A recent industry survey revealed that hotel owners recognize the significance of technology in business success, with a majority of guests preferring self-service options to reduce contact. The survey also showed a growing interest among travelers in vacations focused on improving physical and mental health, indicating promising growth in the global wellness tourism market.
The exhibition will offer a platform for over 100 experts in the hospitality sector to discuss prevailing trends in the industry through conferences like the Hospitality Leaders and Food and Beverage Stakeholders Forum. The event will also feature exhibitors showcasing products, design, and technology related to health, fitness, wellness, and spas.
Simultaneously, an Entertainment Exhibition will take place at Sheikh Saeed Hall 3 in the Dubai World Trade Centre, with more than 40 exhibitors expected to attract specialized visitors in the sector. The event will coincide with the Hotel Expo, creating an expansive international forum showcasing the latest innovations in the hospitality and wellness sectors.
