The Ministry of Defense recently finalized an agreement with Israeli company IMCO to provide equipment for IDF armored vehicles. Specifically, the equipment will be used for Merkava tanks as well as Namer and Eitan armored personnel carriers. The agreement is set to last for four years and is valued at approximately 376 million shekels.

The decision to make this deal was influenced by the lessons learned from the War of Iron Swords. The goal of the agreement is to enhance the capabilities of the ground forces, with a specific focus on improving armored military equipment. This investment is expected to contribute to the overall readiness and effectiveness of the IDF in fulfilling its defense objectives.
