For the past four evenings, anti-Israeli demonstrations have been occurring near the Israeli Embassy in the Jordanian capital. Each evening, protesters have attempted to approach the Embassy but have been pushed back by police and gendarmerie, resulting in several detentions. Despite the ongoing protests, the number of participants has decreased, with mostly teenagers and students in attendance.

The demonstrators are calling on the Jordanian government to take concrete actions to address what they see as Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. Their demands include the revocation of all agreements with Israel, such as the peace treaty (Wadi Arba agreement) and the gas agreement. Additionally, they are asking for a stop to the land delivery of goods from the Persian Gulf countries through Jordan, as well as a ban on vegetable exports.

These protests are a clear sign of the growing tension and discontent among certain segments of the Jordanian population regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The government will need to carefully consider these demands and work towards finding a resolution that satisfies both the protesters and maintains peace and stability in the region.
