Packers running back Josh Jacobs took part in Tuesday’s organized team activity, but his participation was limited due to a hamstring injury, as reported by Matt Schneidman of TheAthletic.com. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Jacobs is on the mend and expected to return to full strength soon, according to Ryan Wood of packersnews.com.

Despite the setback, Jacobs signed a lucrative four-year, $48 million contract with the Packers during the offseason. He is set to take over as the team’s RB1 following Aaron Jones’ departure. Jacobs had an impressive career with the Raiders, rushing for a total of 5,545 yards and scoring 46 rushing touchdowns, including a league-leading 1,653 yards in the 2022 season. He is a significant addition to the Packers’ offense and is expected to make a strong impact once fully healthy.
