In addition to the primary uniforms, the Lions introduced black as an alternate uniform option. This black jersey features Honolulu Blue lettering outlined in silver, paired with an all-black alternate pant option. The alternate jersey can be paired with a blue helmet, providing a new and bold look for the team.
Lions president Rod Wood expressed his excitement for the new era of Lions football, stating that the Honolulu Blue and Silver colors have defined the team for generations. He emphasized the importance of evolving the look of the team while paying homage to its past and looking towards the future.
