With over 9,000 entries in 110 categories, the competition is considered the ultimate challenge in the world of beer, often referred to as the Olympics of beer. Among the winners from Minnesota were Bent Paddle from Duluth, Northbound Smokehouse and Brewpub from Minneapolis, and Excelsior, who took home awards for their outstanding brews. BeerClub from Mora and Pryes Brewing from Minneapolis also received bronze medals at the competition. Executive Director of the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, Jess Talley, expressed her pride in the local breweries, stating that these awards highlight the exceptional quality of beer being produced in communities throughout Minnesota by our neighbors and friends.
