Six Minnesota brewers were awarded medals at the World Beer Cup in Las Vegas. This competition is renowned as the “Olympics of beer” and is considered the largest and most prestigious beer competition globally, according to the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild. In 2024, over 9,000 entries were submitted by more than 2,000 breweries, competing for gold, silver, and bronze in 110 categories.
Two Minnesota breweries clinched bronze medals, two received silver medals, and two were awarded gold medals for their exceptional beers. Bob Galligan, the director of government and industry relations for the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, expressed immense pride in the recipients for showcasing the high-quality beer produced by Minnesota brewers. – BRONZE: German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock “Doppel (doppel) Bock (bock),” BeerClub Brewing, Mora
– BRONZE: Mixed Culture Brett Beer “Idyll Forest – Soirée,” Pryes Brewing Co., Minneapolis
