MU Health Care, based in Columbia, will be opening a new and larger urgent care facility in west Jefferson City at the end of May. This new location, situated in the 3500 block of West Truman Boulevard near the Fairfield Inn and Suites, will provide more space and additional services such as on-site imaging and lab draw. The facility is set to open on Thursday, May 30 and will operate seven days a week from 7:30 am to 7 pm, catering to patients on a walk-in basis.
In order to accommodate this new facility, MU Health Care has closed its urgent care on Eastland Drive. Their Edgewood Drive urgent care in Jefferson City will remain open until May 29 to ensure a smooth transition for patients. This expansion reflects MU Health Care’s commitment to providing convenient and accessible healthcare services to the community.
