Netflix has partnered with Roblox to introduce its own “digital theme park” on the online gaming platform. Named “Nextworld,” this web-based universe will showcase characters and content from popular Netflix IP such as “Stranger Things,” “One Piece,” “Cobra Kai,” and “Rebel Moon.” The offering will make its debut in early access on Roblox.

In the Netflix universe’s central hub, Nextworld, users can explore their favorite series and movies in more depth. Immersive games like “Stranger Things: Escape from Hawkins High,” “One Piece: East Blue Brawls,” and “Rebel Moon: Outskirts Battles” will allow players to interact with beloved characters like Dustin, Luffy, and Jimmy. These characters will serve as guardians of their worlds and may even assist players on their quests.

While Roblox itself is free to use, users can purchase “Robux,” an in-game currency used to buy virtual items. The 3D interactive spaces in Netflix’s “Nextworld” on Roblox include mini-games inspired by popular shows like “Is It Cake?” and “Cobra Kai,” where players can test their karate skills at the Dojo. By visiting the “Streamship” in Roblox, users can attend online events like premieres and viewing parties, as well as watch daily content at the “Tudum Theater.”

As players navigate through Nextworld, they can collect objects and wearables from various shows and movies to decorate their Fan Pod, a private space that they can keep to themselves or share with friends. By completing challenges in Nextworld and earning currency, players can expand their pod with exclusive items, including free limited User-Generated Content like a Demogorgon Plushie Head or a One Piece Flag.
