In East Helena, a new axe-throwing business has recently opened its doors. A group of ten people gathered on Tuesday, April 16th to learn and improve their axe-throwing skills. Keith Brewer, one of the owners of Brewer Creek Axe Throwing, mentioned that their axe coaches are there to teach anyone the proper technique to successfully hit the target.

Brewer Creek Axe Throwing is a mobile axe-throwing trailer that was inspired by the owners’ passion for travel. Keith and Galen Brewer enjoy visiting local breweries during their travels and noticed the popularity of axe-throwing activities in places like Spokane and Missoula. They wanted to bring that experience back to the Helena area since they noticed that there weren’t any similar activities available in town.

The axe-throwing trailer was built in November and had a soft launch earlier this year. It is usually parked at Missouri River Brewing in East Helena on Thursday and Friday nights. Reservations are recommended to secure a spot, but walk-ins are also welcome. Brewer Creek also offers other activities like cornhole, ladder golf, and Montana yard dice to keep guests entertained while they wait for their turn in the trailer.

Friendly competitions and the chance to try different types of axes are part of the experience offered by Brewer Creek. They provide lighter throwing hatchets to help people focus on hitting the target and playing the games associated with the trailer. During the summer season, Brewer Creek will be at Copper Furrow Brewing on Wednesday nights, Missouri River Brewing on Thursday nights, and Lewis and Clark Brewery on Sunday afternoons, providing even more opportunities for people to enjoy this unique experience.
