Travel + Leisure has chosen four of the most exciting new hotels in New England as part of their It List 2024. These hotels include Raffles Boston, Faraway Martha’s Vineyard, Norumbega Inn in Camden, Maine, and Gardiner House in Newport. These properties are among the 36 North American hotels selected for the list, which represents 39 countries across six continents. This year, the list also includes luxury cruises for the first time.
Raffles Boston offers guests sumptuous rooms with sophisticated gold and black touches that reflect the brand’s Asian roots. Faraway Martha’s Vineyard features Bohemian influences from the 1960s and ’70s, with restaurants that honor the location. Norumbega Inn in Maine is described as “The Castle by the Sea,” making guests feel like they’ve been transported to a storied country estate. Gardiner House in Newport has quickly become a social hub for stylish locals and winter visitors, changing the city’s hospitality scene.
