Apple has unveiled new versions of its Logic Pro software for iPad and Mac, offering significant advancements. The updated Logic Pro now includes advanced features powered by artificial intelligence to assist musicians in the creative process while still giving them full artistic control. The new Session Player feature expands on the capabilities of Logic Pro’s Drummer by introducing Bass Player and Keyboard Player. These AI-generated virtual musicians can play based on feedback, allowing for personalized musical performances.

Another new feature, Stem Splitter, enables artists to separate and manipulate individual components of audio recordings. This tool is perfect for refining old recordings or exploring new creative possibilities. ChromaGlow, also powered by AI, adds warmth and depth to audio tracks with multiple saturation options for finding the perfect tone for each composition. Logic Pro for iPad transforms the device into a portable recording studio optimized for touch interfaces and capable of managing complex projects with the power of Apple chips. The Mac version offers advanced features for professional studio-level production.

Logic Pro for Mac (version 11) will be available on the Mac App Store starting May 13 as a free update for current users or for €229.99 for new buyers. The iPad version will also be available as a free update or through monthly or annual subscriptions. Both versions require Apple’s latest operating systems.

Overall, the new Logic Pro software offers a range of AI-powered features for musicians to enhance their creative process and production quality, whether on iPad or Mac devices.
