Disney intends to expand its Disneyland theme park resort district over the next 30 years, according to a report published by The OC Register. The plan proposes to introduce international park attractions, as well as more retail stores and parking spaces. Disneyland Resort President Ken Pollock presented the “Disneyland Forward” proposal to Orange County business and civic leaders at the OC Forum held at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. The presentation highlighted the tourism, tax, and employment benefits of the proposal. The city of Anaheim is also hosting public hearings to gather input from residents. Disney is the parent company of ABC station KABC Television.
