Official launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in Peru: Discover the features and price of the Leica camera smartphone

Xiaomi recently launched its highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series during an event in Santiago de Chile, where the new smartphones were introduced and made available in the country. Along with the smartphones, Xiaomi also announced the arrival of a range of wearables, including the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, the Xiaomi Watch S3, and the Xiaomi Watch 2.

One of the standout features of the Xiaomi 14 series is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, as well as a collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica. The smartphones boast a quad camera setup with a range of focal lengths from 12mm to 120mm, providing versatile exposure adjustments in various scenarios. The cameras feature a 1-inch LYT-900 image sensor with a dynamic range of up to 14EV, ensuring high-quality images even in low-light conditions.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is capable of recording in 8K at 30fps across all its cameras, equipped with Leica optics and a 50MP sensor. Its main camera can record in 4K at 120fps with up to 5x slow-motion effects and full zoom at 60fps in 4K. The smartphone features a 6.36″ CrystalRes AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a brightness of 3000 nits, offering a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 comes with a triple camera setup covering a focal range from 14mm to 75mm, featuring Leica Summilux optical lenses. The main camera has an aperture of f/1.6 and a Light Fusion 900 sensor for a dynamic range of up to 13.5 EV. Both models are powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 processor and run on Xiaomi HyperOS.

The pre-sale of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in its 16GB+512GB storage variant will begin on April 25 and end on May 9, priced at S/.5,499. Following the pre-sale, the device will be available in Xiaomi Stores, through the mobile operator Entel, and a department store. The Xiaomi 14 in its 12GB+512GB version will be available in the Peruvian market shortly, priced at S/.3,999.

Additionally, Xiaomi introduced the Smart Band 8 Pro, the Watch S3, and the Watch 2, each offering a unique set of features and functionalities tailored to health tracking, sports modes, and smart features like voice assistants.
