Progress Report Released by UC Health on Climate Pledge Commitments

Climate action is crucial for health care providers now more than ever. It is not just a response to environmental challenges, but a global necessity to protect the health and well-being of all individuals.

University of California Health is dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care, educating future health professionals, and conducting research to enhance the health and quality of life for Californians.

As a participant in the Health Sector Climate Pledge, UC Health is collaborating with over 130 organizations and 900 hospitals to develop comprehensive and equitable climate resilience plans across the system.

To show progress in fulfilling the Health Sector Climate Pledge, a report has been released detailing the advancements made by individual Health Centers and outlining the next steps in UC Health’s resilience planning journey.

Congratulations to UC Health colleagues and student fellow contributors for their significant role in advancing climate resilience for UC health centers and their communities.
