Schnuck Markets, Inc. is excited to introduce SchnucksSpringboard, a business accelerator program designed to support diverse-owned businesses by offering education, resources, and access to local opportunities. The program is a partnership with the non-profit Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council.

Business owners interested in applying to the program can visit schnucks.com/springboard before May 12th. Those accepted into the program will have the opportunity to conduct in-store product trials at select Schnucks stores, receive $5,000 of equity-free funding, and participate in business development classes at Schnucks’ headquarters in St. Louis.

In 2020, Schnucks launched their diversity, equity, and inclusion plan called Unity Is Power, focusing on community support for organizations promoting racial equity, such as the Urban League. For their efforts, Schnucks was honored with the Civic Leadership Award by ULSTL and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity by Newsweek in 2024.

Since its founding in St. Louis in 1939, Schnuck Markets, Inc. has been a family-owned grocery retailer committed to nourishing people’s lives. With 115 stores across Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin and nearly 12,000 employees, Schnucks is known for its dedication to the community. According to Forbes’ 2023 rankings, Schnucks is the 14th largest privately-owned grocer in the U.S. and annually donates over $15 million in food to pantries.
