Sports Updates: Wayne Moler from Waterford achieved a hole-in-one at Oxbow Golf Course on the 112-yard, par 3 fourth hole. Moler used a sand wedge for the shot, with witnesses Kelly Comer, Skip Wesson, and Tim Murphy present.
Todd Bloss recorded his 10th hole-in-one at Oxnow Golf and Country Club by acing the seventh hole with an 8-iron. Witnessing the achievement were Doug Garrett, Mike Rowley, and Dick Wigal.
Fred Wanstreet, an 83-year-old golfer from Pennsboro, achieved his fourth hole-in-one using a 56-wedge to ace the 87-yard, fifth hole at Golf Club of West Virginia. Wanstreet had previously achieved three hole-in-ones on the same hole at North Bend Golf Course. His witnesses were his son, Dave Wanstreet, and his two grandsons, Isaiah and Caleb Wanstreet.
