The Titans had a successful first pick in the draft, landing JC Latham who is expected to make an immediate impact as a starting offensive tackle. Latham is seen as a strong talent with the potential to excel in the NFL. However, the rest of the Titans’ draft picks did not generate as much excitement. Cedric Gray in the fourth round could be a steal in the long term, but overall, the draft class did not stand out unless T’Vondre Sweat can develop into a pass rusher.

Latham, chosen as the seventh overall pick, was highly rated and was even considered for the fifth overall pick by the Chargers. He is expected to bolster the Titans’ offensive line and provide solid protection for quarterback Will Levis. Although he was an easy pick at a position of need, the rest of the draft choices did not receive as much praise.

Sweat, selected in the second round as the 38th overall pick, is a large defensive tackle known for his ability to stop the run. However, his pass-rushing skills may not be as strong, and he would need to lose weight to become a more versatile player in the NFL. This led to some criticism of his high selection in the draft.

Overall, the Titans’ draft picks included JC Latham, T’Vondre Sweat, Cedric Gray, Jarvis Brownlee Jr., Jha’Quan Jackson, James Williams, and Jaylen Harrell. While Latham was a standout choice, Sweat’s selection was met with some skepticism. Cedric Gray and the rest of the draft picks will need to prove themselves to make a lasting impact on the team.
