Thieves Steal 11 Bikes from Phoenix Racing Honda

Over the weekend following Round 13 of the Supercross season, nearly a dozen championship-winning motorcycles were stolen during a break-in at Phoenix Racing Honda in Salisbury, North Carolina. Phoenix Racing took to Instagram to share the news, lamenting the theft of 11 of their championship bikes from the showroom. The team urged people in the Charlotte, NC area to keep an eye out for the stolen bikes.

The Instagram post included images showing the damage to the front door and the debris left behind after the break-in. In another post, Phoenix Racing shared surveillance footage that showed at least six individuals struggling to remove the bikes from their stands and pushing them out through the front doors.

Following Thanksgiving, Phoenix Racing Honda made an official announcement confirming Dylan Ferrandis as their newest rider starting in 2024. The team currently fields bikes for Ferrandis in the 450 class, as well as for Jace Owens, Cullin Park, and Kyle Peters in the 250 division. Despite missing the last four rounds due to injury, Ferrandis is ranked 12th in SuperMotocross points. Among Phoenix’s 250 riders, Kyle Peters is the highest ranked, currently sitting at 21st in SuperMotocross points and eighth in the 250 West division.

In other Supercross news, updates from Supercross Foxborough including points and results were shared. Coty Schock signed a three-year contract with ClubMX, while Jeremy Martin will be out for the remainder of the 2024 SX season. Levi Kitchen is gaining confidence as a cook, Adam Cianciarulo has plans to retire at the end of the SX season, Austin Forkner underwent Lasik surgery, and Justin Barcia commented on the Jett Lawrence crash, saying it was a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
