The maximum price of petrol 95 (E10) will increase on Thursday, reaching a maximum of 1.858 euros per liter, as announced by the Federal Public Service Economy. This marks the first time since October of last year that the price has exceeded 1.85 euros per liter. The new maximum price represents an increase of 3.1 cents per liter compared to the current price. On the other hand, the price of petrol 98 (E5) is decreasing, dropping by 8 cents per liter to 1.958 euros per liter on Thursday.
These price changes are attributed to fluctuations in the quotations of oil products and their biocomponents on international markets, according to the FPS Economy. The increase in the maximum price of petrol 95 (E10) and the decrease in the maximum price of petrol 98 (E5) are reflective of these market movements.
