A total of 118 current or former Utah student-athletes will be receiving their degrees during the University of Utah’s Commencement on Thursday, May 2. This event will recognize graduates from Fall 2023, as well as Spring and Summer 2024, who have earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The University’s 155th general commencement will be livestreamed at 6 p.m. MT on Thursday at www.utah.edu/live.
Utah’s student-athletes have consistently maintained a high graduation rate, with a 94% figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah has achieved a graduation rate of 93% or higher, ranking second in the Pac-12 conference behind Stanford.
The student-athletes from various sports programs at Utah, including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country, track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, beach volleyball, and volleyball, will be recognized during the ceremony.
