A woman who fell victim to an online romance fraudster shared how she felt devastated when she discovered she was pregnant with his child. Peter Gray, 35, was sentenced to 56 months in prison for defrauding four women out of £80,000 and was given restraining orders. He had targeted the women on Tinder, forming close connections to exploit them financially for his own gain.

Hannah, one of Gray’s victims, revealed that she was manipulated into staying in a relationship with him that ultimately led to her becoming pregnant. After her sister Natalie uncovered Gray’s true nature as a con man, Hannah was left in shock and disbelief. She shared her experience to BBC Radio 5 Live Drive, expressing her feelings of being unable to cope with the situation.

Natalie, Hannah’s sister, emphasized how these kinds of scams can happen to anyone, even though they seem far-fetched. Hannah’s story serves as a reminder of the dangers of forming relationships with strangers online and the importance of being cautious in such situations.
