Helados La Azteca, a family-owned business, is expanding and opening a new location in Temple. The Garcia family started the business in the late 1990s and has been making Mexican-style popsicles, or paletas, ever since. The Temple location is set to open on April 26th.

The Garcias spend hours each week making hundreds of paletas. It has become a tradition for them, one that they have been doing for years. Initially, they focused on manufacturing popsicles for stores in Dallas and bulk buyers. However, they eventually decided to expand and offer popsicles and soft-served ice cream in their own front store.

Over the years, they have opened three locations in Waco and expanded to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They also offer fruit cups, candy, and piñatas at some of their locations. Now, they are looking to expand further by opening a new location in Temple.

Eduardo Garcia mentioned that he was drawn to Temple because of the growing community and potential he saw in the area. The Garcias are excited to bring their Mexican tradition and delicious treats to Central Texas. They are looking forward to opening their new Temple location on April 26th and hope to continue expanding their business in the future.
