Apple recently announced the introduction of the iPad Pro with the M4 chip and the iPad Air with the M2 chip, along with the release of the Apple Pencil Pro. This new Apple Pencil is equipped with advanced features that aim to enhance the digital drawing and writing experience. One of its most innovative features is the pressure sensor, allowing users to easily access a palette of tools by “squeezing” the pen. This enables swift changes to tools, line weights, and colors without disrupting the creative process.

Additionally, the Apple Pencil Pro includes an integrated gyroscope for improved shape control, providing users with more intuitive and accurate movements. The new haptic engine also enhances the user experience by providing a subtle tactile response when using gestures like double-tapping or activating smart shapes. This feature increases interaction and adds to the realism of using the Apple Pencil Pro.

The Apple Pencil Pro conveniently pairs, charges, and stores magnetically on the sides of the newly announced iPad Pro and iPad Air models. The redesigned magnetic interface on these devices simplifies the use and transport of the accessory. It is worth noting that the Apple Pencil Pro is specifically designed for use with the latest iPad Pro and iPad Air models and is not compatible with other iPad models.

For the first time, Apple Pencil features support for the Find My application, enabling users to easily locate their Apple Pencil if it is misplaced. This feature is particularly useful for professionals and students who rely on their Apple Pencil for their daily work or studies. The Apple Pencil Pro will be available for purchase at a price of 149 euros starting from May 15th. Apple will continue to offer all other versions of the Apple Pencil, including the second generation for 149 euros, the Apple Pencil USB-C for 89 euros, and the first generation Apple Pencil for 119 euros.
