Congressman Cohen reveals $21.3 million in grants from the Department of Health and Human Services.

In Washington, Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) announced that Memphis Health Center Inc., Porter-Leath, and the Shelby County Board of Education will be receiving grants totaling $21,309,797 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Porter-Leath will receive $1,385,603 to operate its Head Start programs, the Board of Education will receive $14,553,699 for their Head Start programs, and Memphis Health Center will receive $5,370,495 to support its programs.

Congressman Cohen expressed his satisfaction with the substantial investment from the federal government, particularly highlighting the funding for Head Start programs.
