The Hall of Heroes, a new traveling exhibit at Mid-America Science Museum, will be opening to the public on Saturday, May 25th. Located in the museum’s Hall of Wonder, the exhibit will explore the history and science of superheroes through interactive programming, movie props, replicas, and rare artifacts from major motion pictures and television shows of the past and present.

Diane LaFollette, CEO of Mid-America Science Museum, stated that this exhibit is a unique opportunity for visitors to discover the hero within themselves and to explore the timeless ideals of courage, resilience, and selflessness. The exhibit offers a fascinating exploration of the history and evolution of heroes in popular culture, providing a fun and educational adventure for superhero fans of all ages.

Presented by Visit Hot Springs with additional support from Allen Tillery and Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, Hall of Heroes will showcase a full-scale “half” replica of the iconic 1960’s Barris Kustoms’ Batmobile. The exhibit will also feature an “Identification Station,” where guests can choose one of five superpower disciplines: “Powers of the Body,” “Powers of the Mind,” “Mastery,” “Gadgets,” and the “Elements.” Visitors can explore, learn, and test their skills at interactive stations tailored to their chosen discipline.

Running until Saturday, August 27th, Hall of Heroes will be free for members and included with general admission to the museum. Admission prices are $12 for adults, $10 for children ages 3 to 12, and $11 for seniors aged 65 and older, teachers, and military personnel. The museum’s hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sundays, 1 PM to 5 PM.

Mid-America Science Museum is located at 500 Mid America Blvd, Hot Springs.
