Hailey Van Lith, who recently completed her fourth season of NCAA women’s basketball competition, has made the decision to transfer to Texas Christian University (TCU) for her fifth and final season. After spending her first three seasons at Louisville, where she achieved success on the court, including a Final Four appearance and another trip to the Elite Eight, Van Lith transferred to LSU to play under the guidance of legendary coach Kim Mulkey. Now, she is set to join the TCU Horned Frogs for her last year as a college athlete.

During her time at Louisville and LSU, Van Lith proved to be a valuable player, averaging 14.5 points, four rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. She showcased her versatility by playing multiple positions, transitioning from a wing player at Louisville to a point guard under Mulkey’s leadership at LSU. Her experience and skills will be highly beneficial to the TCU program.

TCU had a promising start to the previous season, earning a spot in the AP Top 25 and beginning with a 13-0 record. However, the team faced setbacks due to injuries, leading to a six-game losing streak and two forfeited games. Despite these challenges, the Horned Frogs finished the season with a 21-12 overall record and a 6-12 record in the Big 12 conference, under the guidance of second-year head coach Mark Campbell.

As she embarks on her final collegiate season, Van Lith brings with her an impressive resume, including being the only active Division I player with over 1,900 points, 500 rebounds, and 350 assists. Additionally, she has represented USA Basketball and is a candidate for the 3×3 national team that will compete in the upcoming Paris Olympics. Van Lith’s talent, experience, and leadership make her a valuable addition to the TCU program as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
