Former Michigan wide receiver Roman Wilson predicted that former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh would select multiple Wolverines in the NFL Draft, and his prediction seems to be coming true. The Chargers recently drafted linebacker Junior Colson in the third round with the 69th overall pick. Colson had an impressive career at Michigan, playing in 43 games over three seasons and contributing to a defense that helped the team make three consecutive playoff appearances. He played a key role in Michigan’s national title win last season, recording 95 tackles and two tackles for loss.

With Colson’s selection, the total number of Michigan players drafted in the NFL now stands at four. Additionally, 18 members of the Michigan team, including Wilson, participated in the Scouting Combine, indicating that there could be more Wolverines drafted before the draft concludes on Saturday. It seems that Harbaugh’s connection to his former players is paying off as they are finding success at the professional level. The Wolverines continue to make their mark in the NFL, showcasing the talent and skill developed during their time at Michigan.
