The historic Copenhagen Stock Exchange building in Denmark’s capital was engulfed in a fire on Tuesday, causing the roof to be affected and the collapse of its iconic spire. As of now, there is no information on any casualties. The Copenhagen Fire Department confirmed the fire on their social media accounts, and the cause of the fire is still unknown. Copenhagen police have advised people to avoid driving in the city.

Danish emergency services are actively working on rescue and extinguishing efforts at the Stock Exchange building. The area around the building has been closed off, and many police officers are on the scene. The Minister of Culture of Denmark expressed regret over the loss of Danish heritage in the fire and praised the emergency services and citizens for their efforts to save treasures from the building.

The Stock Exchange building, known as Borsen, was completed in 1640 and is located near Christianborg Palace. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The building no longer functions as a stock exchange but is the headquarters of the Danish Chamber of Commerce. The flames are difficult to reach due to the scaffolding around the building, and nearby buildings have been evacuated.

Various social media platforms and websites have been sharing news and information about the fire in the Stock Exchange building. Authorities are working diligently to control the fire and ensure the safety of everyone in the area. The historic building holds significant cultural value and is a prominent tourist attraction in Denmark.
