Aharon Haliva, head of the Israeli Army’s Intelligence services, has presented his resignation in response to his “responsibility” for the attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7. These attacks resulted in the death of 1,200 people and the kidnapping of nearly 240 individuals. Haliva has called for an investigation committee to analyze the security failures that occurred during the events.
The Israeli Army confirmed that Haliva’s resignation has been approved by Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant.
