Navy Selects DCS for Research and Development of Advanced ISR Technology

DCS Corp. is a provider of engineering, programmatic, and technical support services that has recently been awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy. The contract, which is a cost-plus-fixed-fee agreement, aims to address challenges related to naval visible, electro-optic/infrared advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and technology.

Under this contract, DCS Corp. will be conducting research and development activities regarding the generation and use of radiation in the wavelength region between near-ultraviolet and far-infrared wavelengths. The Department of Defense announced that the contract has a base value of $9.7 million and could potentially reach a cumulative value of $49.8 million if all options are exercised.

The work under this contract will be carried out at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. The expected completion date for this project is set for April 2025. This contract highlights DCS Corp.’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to meet the needs of the U.S. Navy in the field of advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and technology.
