Shakira, the Grammy-winning Colombian superstar, is set to bring her world tour to Boston later this year. She announced that the tour will include stops in 12 U.S. cities and two Canadian cities during the first leg of the tour. The North American leg of the tour kicks off on November 2nd in California and wraps up on December 15th in Detroit.
One of the stops on the tour will be Boston, with a performance scheduled for December 8th at TD Garden. The tour is centered around her latest album release, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women No Longer Cry), which is her first studio album in seven years and boasts 17 tracks.
Other cities on the tour schedule include Palm Desert, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Dallas, Miami, Charlotte, Washington D.C., Toronto, Brooklyn, Montreal, Chicago, and Detroit. International dates for the tour are expected to be announced soon.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the public on April 22nd at 10 a.m. However, Shakira’s Wolfpack members have access to a pre-sale starting at 9 a.m. on April 19th if they join before April 17th. Additionally, on April 12th, Shakira performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California alongside DJ Bizarrap.
