Northwood University has been recognized by Think Advisor as one of the top 15 business schools in the country based on the high salaries earned by its graduates. Dr. Kristin Stehouwer, the vice president of academics and provost at Northwood University, attributes this recognition to the institution’s academic excellence and its commitment to preparing students for success in the business world.

With graduates earning a median salary of $102,700 mid-career, Northwood University in Midland tied for ninth place on the list. Susie Poli-Smith, the vice president of undergraduate enrollment and financial aid for Northwood University, emphasizes that the success of the university’s alumni is a result of their strong work ethic and sense of individual responsibility. Many of Northwood’s graduates go on to own their own businesses, while others pursue further education at the DeVos Graduate School to enhance their skills and advance in their careers.

A business school, according to PayScale, is defined as a college that awards more than half of its undergraduate degrees in business-related fields such as accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, human resources management, management information systems, and marketing. The reported median salaries reflect the earnings of graduates with business-related majors specifically, rather than the overall earning potential of the entire student body. Additionally, these figures only include students who have completed a bachelor’s degree.
