The local Toastmasters Club is inviting individuals interested in sharpening their skills to attend their weekly meetings. According to NorthBay Health Social Media and Online Specialist Robin Miller, Vice President of Public Relations for the Toastmasters Club, Toastmasters is designed to help improve the skills and confidence needed to effectively express yourself in any situation. “Whether you are a tenured manager, young professional or just looking to advance your career, the Talk of NorthBay Toastmasters Club is a supportive group that meets each Wednesday at noon via Zoom, to help members gain great communication skills,” said Miller.
Toastmasters is an international organization that has helped millions of men and women in a supportive and positive learning environment develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. “By learning to effectively formulate and express your ideas, you open an entirely new world of possibilities,” said Miller. “You’ll improve your interpersonal communication and be more persuasive and confident when giving speeches.”
