Maxon Cox of Martin Luther College was pictured taking a lead off first base in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference baseball game against Bethany Lutheran College at ISG Field. The game resulted in a 15-3 win for Bethany Lutheran College in seven innings, leading to their series sweep over Martin Luther College. This win followed previous victories of 22-5 and 13-3 in the series.

John Lutzi earned the win on the mound for Bethany Lutheran College, pitching all seven innings and allowing seven hits and two earned runs with six strikeouts. Carter Seltz took the loss for Martin Luther College. The game was called after seven innings due to the 10-run rule.

BLC scored multiple runs in four of the first five innings, establishing their lead early in the game. After Cox hit a two-run home run for MLC, Bethany Lutheran College closed out the game with two scoreless innings. Mason Cox, Parker Winghart, Jackson Lindemann, and Caleb Heckendorf all had notable performances in the game.
